Heather: I have been playing violin for 20 years. I am classically trained and have additional training in bluegrass and improvisational techniques. I have studied locally and abroad with Steve Gardner, Greg Spatz, and Irene Sazer. I have experience teaching beginning and intermediate students. I am committed to fostering a student/teacher relationship that is individualized and that utilizes playing and practice techniques which emphasize each student's strengths. My approach keeps my student's motivation levels high. In other words, I make learning violin fun!
